INTERPRETATION: From the above table it is observed that 22% of the


respondents are of Below 25 years, 40% of the respondents are of 25-30 years,
38% of the respondents are above 35 years. Therefore, it can be concluded that
the majority of the women’s using microfinance enterprises are between the age
of 25-30 years.

INTERPRETATION: From the above table it is observed that 4% of


women respondents are illiterate, 36% of women respondents completed
primary education, 42% of the women respondents completed Under-
Graduation, 16% of women respondents completed Post-Graduation, 2% of
women respondents have other qualification. It can be concluded that majority
of the women respondents using micro finance system are pursuing or qualified
with a UG degree.

INTERPRETATION: From the table 4.3, it shows that nearly 68% of the
respondents are single and 32% of the respondents are married. Thus, the
majority of the respondents are single.

INTERPRETATION: From the above table it is observed that 14% of


respondents are labour/ helpers, 34% of respondents are petty ventures, 12% of
respondents are under agriculture/ poultry, 22% of respondents are unemployed,
18% of respondents are having other qualifications. Thus, it can be concluded
that majority of the women’s empowered by microfinance enterprises are petty
ventures.

INTERPRETATION: The table 4.5 the annual income wise classification


of the respondents. Out of 50 respondents, 64% of respondents earn an income
less than 1 lakh, 32% of respondents earn an income between 1-2 lakhs, 4% of
the respondents earn an income more than 2 lakhs. Thus, the maximum
percentage of respondents will be in the category of income less than 1 lakh
who are highly financed by microfinance enterprises.

INTERPRETATION: The table above is the annual investments wise


classification of the respondents. Out of 50 respondents, 34% of respondents
invested in the rate less than 25,000, 46% of respondents invested in the rate
between 25,000-50,000, 18% of the respondents invested in the rate between
50,000-1,00,000, 2% of respondents invested in the rate more than 1,00,000.
Thus, the maximum percentage of respondents will be in the category of
investment between 25,000-50,000 who are highly empowered by
microfinance.

INTERPRETATION: The above table shows the performance of women


that they have invested in microfinance enterprises. 52% of women respondents
have invested and 48% of women respondents does not invested in
microfinance enterprise. Thus, it can be concluded that the women’s were

INTERPRETATION: The above table 4.8 classifies the streams by which


the respondents are aware of the program of microfinance. Out of 50
respondents 10% of women respondents are aware of microfinance in the
stream of advertisement, 32% of women respondents are aware of friends and
family, 40% of women respondents are aware of the microfinance enterprise in
the means of banking institutions, 16% of women respondents are aware about
the microfinance services from none of the above streams. Thus, it can be
concluded that women respondents are highly aware about the microfinance
enterprises by the stream of banking institutions.

prefer their loan from credit institutions, 24% of respondents prefer non-

INTERPRETATION: From the above table it can be observed the purpose


for which loans are taken. 16% of respondents take loans for personal usage,
18% of respondents take loans for medical purpose, 44% of respondents take
loans for the purpose of education, 18% of respondents take loans for the
purpose of marriage, 4% of respondents take loans for other purposes. Thus, it
can be observed that most of the respondents prefer loans for the purpose of
education.

INTERPRETATION: The table determines the benefits for the women’s


after joining microfinance enterprises. 14% of women respondents are benefited

INTERPRETATION: The above table 4.13 contains the microfinance


programmes involved by the women respondents. 8% of respondents are
involved in micro credit, 30% of respondents involved in the program of
savings and checking account, 24% of respondents are involved in payment
systems, 18% of respondents involved in micro insurance, 18% of respondents
are involved in self-help groups, 2% of respondents are involved in other
programmes. Thus, it can be concluded that the respondents are highly involved
in savings and checking account.
