ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH

Environmental Health Section is devoted to explore and analyze environmental factors (physical,
biological, chemical, social) that affect the degree of public health.

COMPETENCE

1. Understand to measure environmental health parameters (Physics, chemistry, biology,


radioactive, social).

2. Able to analyze environmental health problems (clean water, waste management, waste
management, vector control, food sanitation, environmental pollution and environmental
toxicology, social environment).

3. Be able to predict environmental health impacts and develop management alternatives for
settlement of environmental health issues of settlements and industries (clean water, waste
management, waste management, vector control, food sanitation, environmental pollution and

A section that institutionally prepares students to be reliable in the field of disease prevention and
control

as well as health problems in general by using epidemiological principles and methods.

COMPETENCE

1. Able to analyze public health problems with epidemiological approach.

2. Be able to measure the magnitude of health problems and seek correlation with risk factors.

3. Able to prepare and present reports of observation, investigation and epidemiological research.

4. Able to design, conduct surveillance of health problems to predict patterns of health problems.

5. Able to design, monitor and assess the implementation of health programs with a quantitative
approach.

Section AKK is one of FKM element that supports learning and achievement of public health
competence

in the field of managerial administration and health policy

4. Able to plan, organize, monitor and evaluate health programs.

8. Able to implement policy formulation steps in the context of risk factor control on health.

6. Health and Safety

Section K3 conducts education process in occupational safety and health. Education S1 Health

People with K3 interests are intended to meet the needs of OSH experts in various job sectors.

1. Be able to recognize occupational hazards in the workplace.

2. Able to make measurements of hazard factors in the workplace.

3. Able to use data of hazard measurement results in the workplace in planning

program management (data management).

4. Able to use work accident and occupational diseases data in preparing preventive programs
