1. Compare - contrast the 3 Instructional Design Models (ADDIE, Dick & Carey, Kemp Models) in Venn Diagram worksheet if
possible.

2. In which component of each model will you need Project Management? You can specify which activity of Project
Management (slide 6) will be useful for which stage of the ID Models. Give examples when necessary to clarify your answer.

2. All of the components need Project management because those three parts on project management can help to manage the
project efficiently.

ADDIE
Perencanaan: Analyze, Design, Develop
Penjadwalan: Implementation
Pengendalian: Evaluation
Example:
Making RPP
1. Perencanaan → Doing need analysis to find students’ need to create the course’ goals (Analyze). After that we design and develop the
content of the lesson that will be used.
2. Penjadwalan → The implementation of the lesson plan (during the class).
3. Pengendalian → The evaluation of the lesson plan implementation. The evaluation can be by doing formative and summative assessment
for the students to see whether the students already mastered the materials or not.

From this example, we can see that project management has a big role in managing the course content.

ADDIE

● Analyze
○ analyzing the problem or goal(s), what the learners know, need to know, and various other facets prior to creating a lesson
● Design
○ creating a pre-lesson: specifically identifying how the lesson or objective will be taught
● Develop
○ creation of content and any materials the learners will be using during the lesson (assessing)
● Implement
○ the lesson and objectives are presented to the learners
● Evaluate
○ evaluate whether the objectives have been mastered suing formative and summative assessments

● Identify Instructional Goals

Identify the goals

● Conduct Instructional Analysis

Determine what skills will be involved in order to achieve the goal.

● Identify Entry Behaviors

Identify what skills and attitudes the learners will enter the learning task with.

● Write Performance Objectives

Transform the needs and goals of the task into clear-cut objectives.

● Develop Criterion-Referenced Tests

Identify ways to assess progress during the learning process. Assessments should reflect the performance objectives.

● Develop Instructional Strategy

Develop activities, including material presentation, students work and assessment .

● Develop and Select Instructional Materials

Determine what instructional materials will be used.

● Develop and Conduct Formative Evaluation

Collect data that will be used to improve instructional materials and to expand the effectiveness of the instruction for a larger number of learners.

● Revise Instruction

Use the data from the formative evaluation to make improvements and revisions to the parts of the model.

● Develop and Conduct Summative Evaluation

Analyze the quality of the system as a whole.

Kemp instructional design model:

-Method that draws from a number of disciplines and approaches to instructional designs

- The oval shape conveys that the design process is a continuous cycle that requires

constant planning, design, development, and assessment for effective instruction.

- Kemp Model approaches instruction and design, from the perspectives of learner
