Last Week: We loved laughing along with
some fun Mo Willems stories this week and
we can’t wait to read more as the year
continues. We were able to incorporate
conversations about sharing, feelings,
friendship and self care along with answer
wh- questions into our whole group read
aloud time. Students had a blast on Friday
making applesauce and many different
activities for “Fine Motor Friday”.

appointment so we will
do our best to avoid spills
and touch up students
before they smile for the
cameras!
numerous October holidays this month. This
week we will be focusing on “national taco
day”, “national walk and bike to school day”
and “hispanic heritage month”. We will be
reading and writing about these national
days as well as numerous class discussions
during morning meeting and closing circle.
We will continue to work in small groups,
addressing specific IEP goals. We will also
start a new Unique Curriculum unit on
“Living in an Ecosystem”.

Unfundraiser Update
We have passed the halfway point and raised over $19,000. Look out for Ms. Sledge
wearing blue hair on Monday! This week’s random raffle will be a $50 gift card to Q
Shack. You can donate online or send cash/check to school with your student and
the yellow form that went home last week.
