16 personalities test reflection

Last week I participated in a class where I took a 16 personalities test. The result which I got
ENTP, which stands for Extroverted, Intuition, Thinking, and Perceiving. The traits and characteristics of
ENTP personality are curiosity, a debating attitude. The strengths of ENTP personality are
knowledgeability, flexible mindset, originality, charisma, and great enthusiasm. These characteristics will
be present whenever I am in a group project or group activity. The Weaknesses of ENTP personality are
very argumentative, overly rational, intolerant, and having difficulty focusing on tasks. These traits
emerge whenever I am with my friends or working on my assignments. After analyzing strengths and
weaknesses, the website concluded that ENTP personalities, on average, match the attributes of lawyers
and software engineers due to both professions requiring the ability to think outside of the box and
having a rational mind while keeping creativity. However, this conclusion does not connect with my
career plan because I aspire to be a vocal coach, which is very different from the profession that the
website concluded. Even though the occupation selection was not correct, the other sections accurately
depicted my personality. In many cases, I am interested in many subjects and topics that major of
people miss out on, such as history, unique music styles, and philosophy, because those small
components of life are the ones that change people, society, and history. At first, I did not believe in the
idea of personality tests predicting a person's personality. But the 16 characters test broke bias and
explained why many people were so surprised with the result of the 16 personalities test.
