III-BPSYCH Activity: Identifying Personality Test (Jung Personality Test)

1. What is your personality type?

● Extravert-iNtuitive-Thinker-Judger (ENTJ)
Extraverts are outgoing, energetic and action-oriented. They are enthusiastic and
expressive.
iNtuitives pay more attention to information that is imaginative and original. iNtuitives
focus on the future.
Thinkers make decisions using logic and impersonal analysis. They think with their heads
rather than their hearts.
Judgers prefer a lifestyle that is decisive, planned and orderly. They like a life that is
organized and controlled.

2. What do you like and dislike about your personality type?

My personality type that I like the most is that of a judger. I like everything that I need to do,
and any of my tasks, as much as possible, are in an organized plan. I’ve observed for myself that I
want to feel comfortable every time I organize and plan my tasks. An example of organizing my tasks
is making a to-do list and making reminders. This personality trait of mine helps me work in teams
because it lets me manage the progress of a certain task. That's why I like this type of personality
because it helps me manage my workload as a student, which helps me to lessen stress and
contribute to the betterment of my work’s team. On the other hand, being a thinker is a personality
type that I dislike because it sometimes makes me offend others. I observe for myself that
sometimes I overlook their feelings, and I always look at what is practical. One example is a recent
incident where I said to my mother that instead of paying for her flight to go to our province to visit
and sympathize with the family of her currently deceased brother, why not use that money to give
that as help or a donation for funeral fees? That made me feel foolish toward myself; I said that
without considering the feelings of my mother, which made her feel hurt more.

3. How do you think your personality type affects your relationships, work, and academic life?
In terms of relationships, my personality type, especially being extroverted, affects how I
form relationships with others. It allows me to easily interact with more people, which helps me get
to know them and establish good relationships, while my other personality allows me to maintain
good relationships. On the other side, in terms of my work and academic life, my personality type

affects them by making me manage and deal with my work, tasks, and routine activities. It tracks my
work progress. It also deals with my work and academic problems. So, with that, it allows me to
lessen my stress on my work and academic life.

4. What are some ways that you can use your personality type to your advantage?
I listed some ways that I can use my personality type to my advantage.
a. Working on a team: based on the results of the Jung personality test, my personality type
has an advantage in leadership, dedication to a team project, and goal-orientedness. This
implies that my personality type has an advantage in working-team settings.
b. Dealing with problems: based on the results of the test, my personality qualifies as being a
strategist, which allows me to formulate strategies or solutions for dealing with problems.
This entails that my personality type has an advantage logically and analytically in resolving
problems.
c. Expanding my social network, with the help of being extroverted, allows me to confidently
interact with a lot of people and establish relationships with them. This led me to make
several connections with various people, which might help me in the future. Also, through
an expanded social network, it may help me to help other people as well. That is why my
personality type is fit and has an advantage in terms of expanding connections and
relationships with several people.
