1. Define the term “INPUT”.

 The instructions entered or given to the computer from the user is called
input.
 Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner helps us to enter input data to the computer.
2. What is Processing?
 After entering the data CPU works on the data or evaluate the data to
convert into meaningful Information. This is called Processing.
 CPU is the example of processing device.
3. What is an IPO cycle? Explain with the help of a flow diagram.
 IPO stands for Input Processing Output
 It is the cycle in which the user enters the data or provides the data as
input, the input data is processed and provide results as output.
 For Example In a washing machine we enter the dirty clothes, washing
powder and water as input, washing and spinning is the process and clean
clothes will come as output.
4. How does a computer work?
 Computer works in IPO (Input Processing Output) Cycle. It first accepts
data or information from the user, process or evaluate the input data and
finally provide the data or results as output.
 Computer also stores the data as per requirement while Processing it.
5. Name any two devices used for providing input to a computer.
