Personality Reflection

Existential Psychology

Existentialism grew out from a philosophical thinking about the nature of humans and the
meaning of existence. It has a subjective notion of free will. That means human action is a result
of choice and is not determined by physical or divine drive forces over which the individual has
no control.

Existentialist maintain that people create themselves every time they make decision; that is, you
are what you are because of what you choose to do and whom you choose to be.

Existential psychology treats personality on the basis of decision that a person makes. Presents
decisions determines the future. A healthy person has the courage to live and act at his or her
best and find meaning in existence and even living is an act of courage.

Existential psychology views life as ongoing, changing and continually striving towards a future
of state fulfillment. Human posses free well and responsible for his or her existence.

Real Life Situation

The first time I came to this school is that I feel lost to myself and out of track in life and this is
biggest adjustment I have after being dependent to my family. But throughout the lesson that I
learned in life. I just have to keep going for I know everything that I did is worth. I always find
life anonymous, fascinating and incredible. This new life thought me to be independent and have
the courage to live in every kind of new environment. In other term existential crisis in mental
problem and lets not be weaken by our own words of emotion but accept them as motivation.
