The Raja Ampat Islands are a series of four adjacent islands

located in the western part of the Bird's Head, Papua Island.

The Raja Ampat Islands are one of the 10 best waters for diving
sites around the world. In fact, it may also be recognized as
number one for the completeness of underwater flora and fauna
at this time. Most tourists who come to Raja Ampat today are
divers

In these waters there are more than five hundred and fourty types
of coral. more than one thousand types of reef fish, seven hundred
types of mollusks, and more. This makes seventy five % of the
world's coral species in Raja Ampat. No place with the same area
has this number of coral species.

Visiting these islands is not too difficult although it takes quite a


lot of time and costs. We can use flights from Jakarta to Sorong
via Manado for 6 hours of flight. From Sorong, a city that is quite
large and has complete facilities for exploring Raja Ampat, there
are two options, taking a tour by phinisi boat or staying at a
Papua Diving resort. in fact this location is also attractive for
non-divers tourists because it also has very beautiful white sandy
beaches, beautiful islands and unique endemic flora and fauna.

Not finished with the natural wealth, Raja Ampat also has a
variety of cultures and arts that are very unique and interesting.
Several villages in Raja Ampat have indeed confirmed their

destinations
