2) Finding and selecting the right people for the right work makes everything simpler and
efficient.
3) Bad hires cost the company about 30% fewer profits according to researches by the US
department of labors and Mckinzie.
4) Bad hires affect team culture, productivity, contentment. It limits growth. (People spend
10% time recruiting and 90% making up for bad hires).
5) Selecting a person who one thinks can do everything is the worst mistake. People should
be hired according to their skill sets and job-specific.
6) Recruiters make big mistakes by hiring people for single positions and not the team.
7) Using structured methods of hiring is helpful and using algorithm technology and other
tools further helps in good hiring.
8) Just focusing on a CV limits the scope of hiring an able candidate. One has to go off track
to find the right personnel. (Find whispering talents)
9) Recruiters must be able to find out the correct needs, asking the right questions with the
help of the right tools, & the right interpretation of the information.
10) Recruits must need to understand the trade-offs between the positives and negatives of
hiring a person with a particular skill-set
