“You are not alone.

Mental health issues can start in childhood that’s why every person deserves
the most wonderful childhood they could ever have.

In this world filled with seven billion people, hundreds and

thousands of us are silently struggling from different mental issues even
right now as we speak. Sadly, most of it are student sharing the same
problems and burdens. Some students shares their stories of depression,
anxiety, self-harm and suicidal thoughts to their closest friends or families,
while some choses to carry those all in their chest and stay unnoticed.
Others talked about the embarrassment they felt about asking for help.
Some cases comes to a point of having a destructive effect not just to them
but to all things around them. Some were as yet undiagnosed but clearly
struggling: "I stay up all night crying" was a common phrase. Managing your
studies alongside a mental health issue can be a daily struggle; it may affect
how you understand your lessons and may cause to make you get a hard
time memorizing. In addition to that, it could make you feel bad about going
to school which are supposed to be the best days of your life. Because of
mental issues some became scared to socialize. They may be silent, but one
thing is for sure, all of them wants to escape this nightmare. They didn’t
want to have this. They only had it because of nature of lifestyle they are in,
and unconsciously that lifestyle was affecting them. According to them,
some of the reasons they think affected them are; bullying, family and
friendship problems, relationships, class works and deadlines and most of
all, loneliness. Some of them thought everything was their fault and they
were just defective and bad and that this was what they deserved from life.
They think they missed out on social life and extra-curricular activities
because they struggled with acute feelings of social anxiety, self-hatred and
fear. If you are struggling with any kind of mental health issues here are
some things you can do: Talk to a friend or family member about it, to get
the conversation started or let them know that you want help. Check in with
yourself. Take 5 minutes to ask yourself how you’re doing today, and if
you’re not okay go talk to someone. More people than you think will be
happy to listen to you. Set yourself a weekly challenge, write yourself a
positive note, and delete unhelpful things from your life (whether these are
people or inanimate objects it needs to be done). Don’t give up! It may seem
hopeless now, but you have to stay strong through it, and I promise no
matter how long it takes you will get through it.
"I hope my words might help some of you to see that you really aren't the
only one. In my opinion, searching out for help in whatever small way you
can manage really is the best thing."

"No matter how bad it gets and how much you think there is no hope and let
your depression take over, you can always dig yourself out of that hole and
find a way to manage your depression and you are not alone."

"Get help, be heard, and let yourself be supported. You're important."
