II. Procedures:
A. Preliminary Activities
1. Drill
Conduct a test of divisibility of numbers.
Paste the number under the proper heading.
2. Review
Write YES if the number at the left is divisible by the second.
3. Motivation
Do you eat fruits? What are the benefits of eating fruits?
B. Developmental Activities
1. Presentation:
Present the problems to the class as spring board to the class discussion.
2. Performing the Activity
Group the pupils into 5 learning barkadas: ask the groups to work together in solving for
the answer to each problem.

3. Processing the Activities


After all groups have presented their output, ask these questions:
● How did you find the activity?
● How were you able to find the answer to the problem?
● In how many ways were you able to arrive at the answer?

4. Reinforcing the Concept and Skills


Discuss another problem.
Then, ask the pupils how to solve the given problems.
5. Summarizing the Lesson
Lead the pupils to give the generalization by asking:
How do you solve routine and non-routine word problems involving factors, multiples and
divisibility rules for 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11, and 12?
6. Applying to New and other Situations
