Dear Participants

Please read the case Harrah’s Entertainment Inc and discuss it within your
respective group. Also, read the related article/ppts. Prepare the answers to
the following questions in the form of a PPT (one PPT file per group with
answers to all the questions - not more than 1 PPT slide per question).

Any type of similarity/ copying of submitted content between groups or


from other sources will be penalized. Technology has now big and sharp
eyes. Hence discuss among your group members (not across other group
members before the case submission)

Each group needs to send its group PPT file to me by 10 PM on 18th October
2021. Mark cc to all the group members. (We will discuss this case on 5th
Session)

I may call one or two members from some randomly selected group(s)


during the class to present and explain the answer to any particular question.

Case questions

1. What are the objectives of the various Data Base marketing programs
and are they working?
2. Why is it important to use the “customer worth” in the DBM efforts
rather than observed level of play?
3. How does Harrah’s integrate the various elements of its marketing
strategy to deliver more than the results of Data Base marketing?
4. What is the sustainability of Harrah’s actions and strategy?
5. What types of analytics applied in this organization?
6. Why there was a need to change the structure of the organization?

Ppt File Name: e.g. for Section A, Group-2, the file name would be
AG2Cisco; for Section B, Group-6, the file name would be BG6Cisco.
