1. Company Brief
Locus.sh is Bangalore based start-up which provides logistics solutions
based of AI to companies which require large amount of good movement
for example Big Basket, Myntra, Lenskart and Bluedart. It helps its
clients that operate in FMCG, logistics and e-commerce spaces in tasks
such as planning, organizing, transporting, and tracking of inventories,
and finding the best path to reach a destination — that have traditionally
required intensive human labour. It also now expanding in international
markets like the US and Europe and currently operates in over 400+ cities
worldwide.

2. Customer Segments
The main target consumer or end consumer is large scale businesses in
the FMCG, logistics and e-commerce spaces which have warehouses
around the country and need to move goods around very often and track
and predict inventories on a real time basis.

3. Value Proposition
Providing logistical and inventory management solutions on a real time
basis by integrating the existing infrastructure with the cloud-based
service at the minimum cost possible while taking into account hundreds
of variables which might affect the logistic chain and delivering real time
solutions to the end user or customer.
4. Revenue Streams
Theirs is not much public information available currently about the
revenue of the start-up but it had a revenue of $30.2 million in 2020 and
is expected to grow even more in up coming years.

The start-up has successfully raised funds in multiple rounds and is

9. Personal take on the Start-up
The start-up has a unique value proposition to offer, and its solutions
actually help the client with the various aspects of logistics and inventory
management. The growth of E-commerce is an also a boon to Locus.sh
and the demand will just go on increasing for such services as the
distance between the end consumer and the seller goes on increasing.
Also, the Covid induced pandemic has present an opportunity to Locus.sh
as supply chains across the country and the globe got disrupted due to
lockdowns and it is positioned right to deal with such situations. Hence,
the overall future for the start-up is quite optimistic.
