When Krishna had gone to Mathura, a lot of his friends had gone with him.

After
Krishna killed Kamsa in a fight, one of His friends Shridam wanted to fight with
Him. Shridham defeated Krishna when he fought with Him.

Pastime of Uddhavji
Krishna has 8 prime queens, Kalindi is one of them. Vajranaav was the grandson of
Kalindi. They came to Vrindavan, Govardhan, Uddhav Kunda (where Uddhavji was living
like a blade of grass). They inquired as to why he was so happy after the departure
of Krishna, he said that due to the mercy of Radharani he could feel the presence
of Krishna there.
When Vajranaav asked what was to be done further, someone suggested to do Kirtana.
The Kirtana attracted Uddhavji who then took all of them to Kusum Sarovar where he
gave them Bhagavatam-Gyaan and Krishna appeared and took all the Queens to
Vrindavan.

In the spiritual world, being a blade of grass is wonderful; whereas in the

material world, being the biggest person is most miserable
Even a stay in a dham is less relishable than doing kirtana together
Devotees know the best way to bargain with the Lord

5 stages of Hare Krishna:

1) What is Hare Krishna
2) I like Hare Krishna - development starts from here
3) I am Hare Krishna
4) My life is Hare Krishna
5) My mission is Hare Krishna - when our mission is Hare Krishna, Krishna acts
through us

If we do not accept Krishna's Shyamsundar form, then we have to accept the Kala
(time) form of Krishna (at the time of death)

SBG 6.35: <Krishna's solution: Control the mind by practice and detachment>
SBG 6.36: <Conclusion: Mind control is must for yoga>

Mind spreads its stupidity to intelligence and ego, so the mind should be
quarantined, in the sense that it should not be allowed to associate with
intelligence and ego

The cultivation of detachment is important to control the mind

Actual failure is not difficult situations, it is when our spirit to be Krishna

Conscious is killed

*SB 11.9.29 - After many, many births and deaths one achieves the rare human form
of life, which, although temporary, affords one the opportunity to attain the
highest perfection. Thus a sober human being should quickly endeavour for the
ultimate perfection of life as long as his body, which is always subject to death,
has not falled down and died. After all, sense gratification is available even in
the most abominable species of life, whereas Krishna Consciousness is possible only
for a human being.

Civilized actually refers to "Sabhya"

"Sabhya" - one who is fit to be in the "sabha" where the glorification of Lord is
happening

Story on Foolishness:
A beggar once got the mercy of a king who asked him to come to the palace. As the
beggar was taking his begging pot with him the king said that he would not have any
need of it; but the beggar replied with concern that he would not be able to beg
properly without his begging pot.
Significance: sometimes we are so much attached to the lower taste that we cannot
appreciate/enjoy/understand the higher taste

Story of Sparrow:
Once a sparrow had all its eggs taken away by the ocean via a wave. The sparrow
asked the ocean to return its eggs back. The ocean did not reply. So the sparrow
threatened to drink the ocean up and started to take mouthfuls of water from the
ocean. Soon the news about the sparrow's endeavour spread throughout the bird
community and ultimately it reached Garuda who himself came down to the sparrow and
helped it get its eggs back.
Significance: our endeavours may be small and insignificant, but consistency will
get us the mercy of the great Acharyas like Srila Prabhupada, even if we fail
multiple times during the process
