❖ HANDS ON EXPERIENCE
I co-designed three types of Rail Locomotive for Zambia & Tanzania
Railways and completed remanufacturing of 18 old locomotives to new locomotive
in our own new design in my experience.

➢ Experienced in Structural Designing, creating 3D & 2D models by using

CATIA V5 & AUTOCAD Versions.
 Involve in locomotive structural designs using Railway standards, Equipments
mounting arrangement & preparing layout. Guiding & assisting juniors in
completing drawings for the whole locomotive whichever necessary for
customers to go through in future for easy maintenance.

➢ Make presentations like customer design proposal and to create manuals to

define feasibility of design or application.
➢ Directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation,
application, installation, and repair of mechanical systems.
➢ Plan and directs fabricating personnel in fabrication of chassis, bogie and
complete super structure of a Rail Locomotive.
➢ May evaluate recommended design modifications in case of any interference
while assembling.
➢ Look after quality of fabrication and installation activities to make sure
products and systems are as per design & customer specifications.
➢ Coordinate maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of
equipments like Engine, Expressor, Blower..etc
➢ Good in specific field of mechanical engineering, aligning rotating equipments
and locomotive maintenance trouble shooting.
