I- How to know that the drawings stands for LCC Or Remote Control Panel Or
Protection Panel?
a- +S1: LCC
b- +U1:Remote Control
c- +R1:Protection Panel

II- What are the main contents of Siemens LCC Dwg.?


a- AC Distribution:D1,D2,..
b- DC Distribution:G1,G2
c- Motors Power supply:L1,L2,L3
d- Disconnectors and Earthing Switches electrical Operation:MA1,MA2,..
e- Circuit Breaker:MB1,MB2,MB3,…
f- Protection:N1,N2,N3,…..
g- Interlockings:P1,P2,P3
h- Check Back Indications: QA,QB,QC
i- Alarms: RA1,RA2,RA3,….
j- Current Transformers: SA
k- Voltage Transformers: SA
l- Components References: Z
m- Front Views: U
n- Cable termination: SB
III- How to proceed if You have a non operating equipment issue?
a- Identify the equipments ( for example : Q1)
b- Study the following related pages as per the following sequence:
1- Operation Dwg.
2- Interlocking Dwg.
3- Motors Supply Dwg.
4- DC Dwg.
c- After studying the above steps, do one more operation and check the
following pages as per the following sequence:
1- Interlocking Dwg.
2- DC Dwg.
3- Motor Supply Dwg.
4- Operation Dwg..
d- Identify the non operating sub component ( for example : K201 Contactor)
e- Check the reference Dwg. for the sub component.
f- Rectify the issue
g- Re try the operation once again , if still not operating repeat the above
steps and try finding another sub component that is non operating

Never to make:

Any By Pass during trouble shooting unless identifying the exact component

Any Double Operation while trouble shooting

Any interlocking test on Live Parts

Any troubleshooting without writing the troubleshooting steps procedures
