2. Powder system for approval versus Corrosivity Class achievable

The powder supplier can only request an approval for a Coating System Type defined in the table below. (yellow fieds)
He has to define precisely the system targeted and to describe the process used to coat the panels provided (Chemical pretreatment or
mechanical and complete pretreatment process including pretreatment process steps).

7. Number of test panels Type B required for the laboratory
Adhesion: 1
Direct impact: 1 (substrate not too thick, please)
Resistance to boiling water: 3 (not necessary for metallic sprayed panels)
Resistance to mortar: 3 (not necessary for Qualicoat approved powder)
Neutral salt spray: 6 for C5 H, 5 for C4 H, 4 for C3 H
Resistance to continuous condensation: 3 (for all categories)
Resistance to humid atmospheres containing SO2: 3 (only for C5i)
Resistance to liquids: 9 (only for C5i)
Find in the table below the number of test panels Type B required for the laboratory.
