Since UBC isn’t super far away, I would also have the option to commute to
school, but driving into Vancouver that often would also be expensive because
of rising gas prices. I would be pulling from three different sources to be able to
afford university. The first is my personal savings, however I do have awful
spending habits, so I’m not at all sure of how much help that will be. The second
is scholarships. In the very minimal research I did on scholarships, I was able to
find a couple that I qualify for, and any amount of money would be helpful, so I
am far from picky. The third, and final source of money would be student loans,
I would try to take out as little as possible from student loans, so that I don’t
have them hanging over my head for years, but with all the education I’m
hoping to receive, at a certain point, student loans are inevitable.
