Medical EHR and AI/ML Research Projects

Care Medical LLC is a physician organization currently developing a high throughput, highly
scalable visual EHR ( Electronic Health Record) system. Our sister company Data Care LLC
operates a 6000 GPU cluster in a custom built data center. We are planning to implement
various AI, ML based techniques to the EHR. We would like to invite interested applicants to
contact us for an opportunity to be involved in these initiatives.

Some of the projects that we have in pipeline include:

Implementation of hand gestures to interact with Desktop EHR application.
Development of Algorithms to diagnose Atrial fibrillation using continuous streaming HR
from PPG applications.
Development of Algorithms to monitor response to treatment of Hypothyroidism using
PPG signals and comparing it’s efficiency against gold standard, ie TSH monitoring.
Development of Algorithms to detect “nondippers” to diagnose Pre-hypertension.

Ideal Candidate:

Being passionate about technology and implementing skills in real life challenges.
Interest in problem solving.
Well versed with Linear Algebra, Statistics, Algorithms
Knows Python and Julia and preferably some working experience.
Understanding of OpenCV, NumPy, SciKit, Pandas and Plotly

Things you can expect to learn during the process:

Literature search on Google Scholar and PubMed.

Conducting Meta Analysis and preparation of publications for the relevant topic.
Analysis of Algorithms in medical space and ways to improve performance.
Interaction with clinicians and scientists with broad based knowledge in clinical domain
and computers from across the globe.
Project management with much shorter cycles than traditional scrum methods.
