Temperate Deciduous Forests Research

1. Climate – varies, but has the 2nd most rainfall of all biomes per year.
a. There are four distinct seasons – autumn, near freezing winters, spring and mildly heated
summers.
b. Winter – near freezing. Summer – 70 degrees F.
c. Precipitation- rain
d. Rain during winter
e. Amount of precipitation – 30-60in
f. No extraneous climate features to be noted.
