1. PREWRITING
A. Read the questions below. With a partner, add two more questions to ask about
your families.

B. Interview your partner about his or her family. Use the questions in A above. Write
your partner’s answers in the blanks.

2. WRITING
On a separate piece of paper, write a paragraph about your partner’s family. Use the
information from your interview in B above.

3. PEER FEEDBACK
Exchange papers with your partner. Read your partner’s paragraph. Answer these
questions about your partner’s paragraph:
1. Is the information your partner wrote about your family correct? If not, which pieces
of information were incorrect? Tell your partner the correct information.
2. Do you want to add more information about your family? Tell your partner the
additional information you want him or her to include.

4. REWRITING
Return your partner’s paragraph. Revise your own paragraph based on your partner’s
suggestions.
