Project Management Assistant

Responsibilities:

 Project planning
o Assist in project coordination in alignment with Methanex's Project Management
Methodology which includes control for scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and
resources.
o Assist in the finalization of the project schedule

o
Assist in identifying, quantifying, documenting and communicating outstanding
issues, project risks and discrepancies and submitting recommendations to resolve
issues and mitigate risks
o Assist in documenting the project and deliverables (Gantt charts, activity reports,
budget updates, issues lists, risk assessments and key deliverables)
 Project documentation
o Developing the following documents in conjunction with the Project Manager:
 Cutover Strategy
 Training plan
 Communication Strategy and plan
 Quality Assurance plan
 Project Readiness Assessment
 Lessons Learned document
 Data Migration plan
 Change management plan
o Methanex Issue log tracking and updating
o Implementation vendor Issue Log tracking & updating
 Participation in project meetings
o Documenting issues and actions
 Support Overall Project Plan documentation maintenance
 Support Overall Project Schedule documentation maintenance (e.g. Building & Maintaining S
Curve)
 Support Data Gathering project progress recording with the Process Champions
 Support Cutover Execution progress documentation (e.g. Building & Maintaining S Curve)
