BIOS OF THE CANDIDATES NOMINATED FOR ELECTION

TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2011/2012

MOONILAL LALCHAN

Moonilal Lalchan is the Vice-President – Finance and Administration at Atlantic LNG Company
of Trinidad and Tobago. Moonilal has over 31 years experience in planning, accounting,
budgeting, internal and external auditing, finance and administration, project management,
performance management and information technology. He is a Chartered Accountant and a
graduate of the e-MBA programme of Auburn University Alabama USA, and the Advanced
Management Programme (AMP 165) of Harvard Business School USA.

Moonilal is a member of ICATT, A fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants


of the UK. He is The Chairman of the Audit Committee of the National Energy Skills Center,
and also an Alternate Governor and an Alternate director of Atlantic LNG Company of Trinidad
and Tobago. He is a Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Trinidad and Tobago
Chamber of Industry and Commerce and was the past Chairman of the Board of Directors of
the Education Facilities Company Limited.

ROBERT RAMCHAND

Robert Ramchand has worked over twenty years in the beverage industry with a leading multi-
national organization in the Caribbean.  He previously held various positions in the Coca Cola
organisation over a fourteen year period including Caricom Manager & General Manager of
Caribbean Bottlers (Trinidad & Jamaica). Presently, he is the Group Chairman of Blue Waters
Limited and has been instrumental in its phenomenal growth over the past five years. He is
also Chairman of Beverages Caribbean Limited and a member of the Boards of Banks
Holdings Ltd and Citrus Products of Belize Ltd. His executive position requires that he work
extensively throughout the Caribbean. He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies,
BSc. Accounting and the University of Miami, MBA Finance.

Robert has served as a Director of the Trinidad & Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce
since November 2007.

CHRISTOPHER MACK

Christopher is the Managing Director of J.T. Allum & Company Limited, a real estate and
investment company with significant commercial property holdings based in the southern
region of country. One of the company's major subsidiaries is JTA Supermarkets Limited
("JTA"), of which Christopher also holds the Managing Director position. JTA is one of the

largest supermarket chains in the country.
Christopher previously held a senior executive position in the Investment Banking sector with
RBTT Merchant Bank, now owned by the Royal Bank of Canada. He was responsible for
origination and structuring transactions with private and public sector entities throughout the
Caribbean and Central America. Several of his transactions earned international recognition
with select global financial publications.

Christopher is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Canada) where he obtained an


undergraduate degree in Pharmacology (Honours BSc.) and a graduate degree in Business
Administration (MBA specialised in Finance).

Christopher has served as a Director of the Trinidad & Tobago Chamber of Industry and
Commerce since December 2010.

PAULA RAJKUMARSINGH

Paula Rajkumarsingh is a Corporate Financial Executive with over 10 years of experience at the
senior management level. Currently, she is an Executive Director and the Chief Financial Officer
for the Neal & Massy Group of Companies, where she has established a solid record of
contributions leading to improved financial performance, enhanced internal controls and
heightened productivity. Before joining the Neal & Massy Group, Paula was a Senior Auditor with
PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd for seven years.

Paula is a Fellow member of the Association of Certified Accountants. She serves on several
Boards: Cluny Board of Management for the St Joseph Convent Schools, First Caribbean
International Bank Ltd (Barbados Parent Board) and the First Caribbean International Bank T&T
Ltd. She was also a Director on the Sugar Manufacturing Company Ltd Board and a Member of
the Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants T&T.

Paula has served as a Director of the Trinidad & Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce
since December 2010.

RONALD HINDS

Ronald Hinds is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Teleios Systems, a Trinidad and
Tobago based software services company. Before the formation of Teleios, Mr Hinds held key
positions in the financial services sector. He served as Managing Director of West Indies
Stockbrokers and later at TATIL Life Insurance. He also served as Chairman of the Trinidad
and Tobago Stock Exchange. In a major career shift in 1979, Mr. Hinds along with two
colleagues founded Teleios Systems.

In addition to leading Teleios, Mr. Hinds devotes considerable time to the pursuit of his interest
in a range of initiatives including leadership, doing business with integrity and the development
of the local and regional ICT sector.  He currently serves as Head of the Strategic Leadership
Team of Congress Corporate, a global Christian Business Network, Vice Chairman of the
government appointed e-business Roundtable and a member of the Central Bank of Trinidad

and Tobago’s Payments Council. Mr Hinds is also an Honorary Consultant to the
Communication Systems Group in UWI’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
JOHN (JAY) ALVI

Jay Alvi has over 25 years in the Telecommunications industry. Currently, he is the Executive
Vice President, Enterprise Services, Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago
Limited (TSTT). He has held executive positions in Canada, the United States, Asia and the
Caribbean. Jay joined TSTT in 2005 as the Trinidad and Tobago market opened to full
competition. He leads the Enterprise Services Division which is responsible for Sales,
Marketing and service of all TSTT products to the business customers.

Jay holds a BSc from the University of Guelph and an MBA (Finance & Marketing) from
McMaster University in Canada.

RIKHI RAMPERSAD

Rikhi Rampersad has been a partner with Deloitte & Touche, Trinidad since its launch in
October 2008. He is currently a Financial Advisory Partner. Rikhi leads the firm’s Financial
Advisory Practice and Business Process Outsourcing department and is also responsible for
Clients & Markets, Financial Reporting and IT.

Previously Rikhi was an audit partner with R.D. Rampersad & Co for over four (4) years and
worked with the firm for over fourteen (14) years. R.D. Rampersad & Co. transitioned to
Deloitte & Touche, Trinidad in October 2008. He spent one year with Deloitte Cayman in their
Financial Advisory practice where he worked on forensic and restructuring type engagements.

Rikhi also served on the board of PLIPDECO from December 2006 to September 2009. During
his tenure he served on the audit and operations committees. He is qualified as a Chartered
Accountant in Trinidad and Tobago and has specialized in the field of investigative and
forensic accounting.

Rikhi is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA) and has a
Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting (DIFA), University of Toronto and is a
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is a Practicing Member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago

VIDIA PERSAD-DOODNATH

Vidia Doodnath holds a B. Sc in Chemistry & Industrial Chemistry (U.W.I.) and an M. Sc in


Food Technology (U.W.I.). She is the Executive Director – Technical Operations of the
Angostura Group of Companies and is responsible for the distillery operations, maintenance
systems and laboratories. She also oversees the Quality Systems, Health and Safety and
Internal Audit for the company.

In 1994 she was appointed as Quality Management Representative and has overseen the
implementation of ISO 9001 Quality standard and ISO 14001 Environmental Standard for the

Angostura Group of Companies. She is also the Chairperson of the Angostura Occupational
Health and Safety Committee. She is also a certified lead auditor for quality, environmental
and food safety management systems. In 2003, she became the first female Executive
Manager of the company in charge of the Supply Chain operations. In 2010, she became the
first female Executive Director of the company.

Over the years, Vidia has been involved in managing and reviewing fermentation, distillation,
warehousing and ageing, blending (bitters and rums) and packaging operations of the
Angostura Group. She has been responsible for quality control of all input materials, in-process
operations and finished product throughout the entire operation of alcoholic beverage
production as well as research and development of new products.

Vidia is a member of the AMCHAM EHS Committee, was a director of the TTMA (Trinidad &
Tobago Manufacturers’ Association) for the years 2008 and 2009 and is still a member of the
Logistics and Infrastructure Committee of the TTMA.
