execute the techniques in playing badminton.

TECHNIQUES STEP BY STEP PROCESS

flat part of the racket handle as he grip the
handle.

Second, like the forehand grip, clench loosely on

the handle and tighten only when hit is tighten.

2. Drop shot First, get ready for shot reach behind the shuttle.

Second, take offensive stance and start raising

both of your hand as shown.

Third, shift your body weight on to your dominant

leg and take your non-racket arm pointing
towards shuttle whereas with racket arm extend
it backward as much comfortably as you can
because it is going to help you generate power.

Fourth, make contact with shuttle at highest

point.

Fifth, follow through.

3. Return service First, have your knees slightly bent with your
non-dominant leg forward and your dominant
arm raised to the level of your eye so that you're
ready to hit the shuttle as quickly as possible.

Second, have your knees slightly bent so that

you're ready to move in any direction.

Third, remember, your opponent can either

serve short or they can flick it over your head. So
you've got to be ready to move forward
aggressively and attack or move backwards and
retrieve the shuttle.

4. Clear First, start off by offensive stance, meaning that

your dominant leg (if you are right handed your
right foot is in the back) and the weight is on the
right foot.

Second, make sure your arms are high and

proper positioned so that you have nice balance
and your chest is not facing your opponent but
slightly away from them with your head turned ,

Third, as soon as you see the birdie in front of

you start off by pushing off your right leg forward
and extending your arm over the bird, the key is
that it has to be over the birdie.

Fourth, contact with the shuttlecock with full

power snapping wrist throwing your shoulder
forward as hard as you can following through
properly to the other side.

6. Net shot forward with the dominant foot and reach with
the racket arm.

Second, make sure to put the racket face in line

with the dropping shuttle.

Third, aim to put slightly more body weight on

the front foot.

Fourth, when in line with the dropping shuttle,

cock the wrist, and as soon as the shuttle comes
into the hitting area drop the racket head down
and quickly lift it to make contact with the shuttle
as close to the top of the net as possible. The
racket hand palm should be facing up when
making contact.

Fifth, the last of the racket lift should come from

the shoulder. This should mean the shuttle
bounces off the face with no pace on it, making it
fall just over the net.

Sixth, after making contact with the shuttle the

racket should keep moving in a upward direction
with the shuttle’s path. Step back off the front
foot to propel the body back to the mid court.
