AIM: To install VirtualBox and Linux System

Q1. What is Virtualization?

A1. Virtualization is the process of running a virtual instance of a computer
system in a layer abstracted from the actual hardware. Most commonly, it
refers to running multiple operating systems on a computer system
simultaneously. To the applications running on top of the virtualized
machine, it can appear as if they are on their dedicated machine, where the
operating system, libraries, and other programs are unique to the guest
virtualized system and unconnected to the host operating system which sits
below it.

Q2. What is Virtual Machine?

A2. A virtual machine, commonly shortened to just VM, is no different
from any other physical computer like laptops, smartphones, or servers. It
has a CPU, memory, disks to store your files, and can connect to the
internet if needed. While the parts that make up your computer (called
hardware) are physical and tangible, VMs are often thought of as virtual
computers or software-defined computers within physical servers, existing
only as code.

Q3. What is Oracle VM VirtualBox?

A3. Oracle VM VirtualBox is cross-platform virtualization software. It
allows users to extend their existing computer to run multiple operating
systems including Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Oracle
Solaris, at the same time. Designed for IT professionals and developers,
Oracle VM VirtualBox is ideal for testing, developing, demonstrating, and
deploying solutions across multiple platforms from one machine.
