Respiratory system is one of the most important functioning system in
our body to live. Generally, respiratory system consists of upper and lower respiratory tract whereas, the upper respiratory tract is in charge ventilation while the lower respiratory tract comprises structure such as lungs for gas exchange. In hospital settings, respiratory system disorders are most commonly encountered by every healthcare providers’ day to day experience. As nurses, we are the one who always interact with our patients. In order to provide optimum care, we should understand thoroughly the respiratory functions, indicator of disorders, significance of nurse education, and many more.
