74’ Mobile Skimmer

Rozema Boat Works was recently awarded a contract to build two 74’ (22m) Mobile
Skimming Vessels and one 65’ (20m) Mobile Skimming Vessel for WCMRC, based
in Burnaby, BC, Canada. The new vessels will be the flagships in WCMRC’s
expanding fleet due to expanding traffic in Vancouver labor, the TMPE expansion
project, and the Canadian government’s mandate to improve oil spill response and
readiness.

The Vessels will be in addition to the two 65’ Mobile Skimmers, two 47’ FRV
Skimmers, and eight 249 BBL recovery barges WCMRC had previously purchased
from Rozema Boat Works.

The 74’ Mobile skimmers represent the largest and most capable oil skimmers
designed and built by Rozema to date. Delivery of vessel # 1 will be March of 2019
and the second Is scheduled for delivery in August 2019
