Standard: DIN VDEO266

Nominal voltage Uo/U: 0.6/1 kV
Test voltage: 4 kV

CONSTRUCTION
Conductor: copper conductor (DIN VDE 0295 class 1 for single-wire cable and class 2 for multi-wire
cable)
Insulation: halogen free cross-linked mixture based on polyolefin (HXI1 DIN VDE 0266)
Filler: halogen free mixture
Concentric conductor: copper wire braid with counter coil made from copper tape
Sheath: halogen free braided mixture, hardly flammable mixture based on polyolefin
(HXM1, in compliance with DIN VDE 0266).
Color: for power cables – black, for cables which are used for self-security current circles - blue.
APPLICATION
This type of cable is in accordance with the requirements of paragraph 5.4 JUS N.B2.730 (for objects
class BD2, BD3 and BD4) and JUS N.B2.752, so it does not spread fire, not burning flame.
These cables are designed for installation in buildings with increased requirements for safety of people
and property, in buildings where rescue of people is difficult (high buildings all types in which resides a
number of people), public, business and other objects for which it is important not to come to a quick
spread of fire and endangering people with smoke.
Basic cable characteristics in case of fire:
- do not spread flame (testing according to DIN VDE 0472 standards, part 804C),
- combustion elements do not contain halogen elements (testing according to DIN VDE 0472 standards,
part 813),
- low density of smoke in the process of fire, (testing according to DIN VDE 0472 standards, part 816).
They can be placed in the air on horizontal racks or in concrete in cable channels. It is allowed to lay
cables in open space.
Laying directly in the ground or water is not allowed.

TECHNICAL DATA
Permissible temperature of the conductor:
- in use (constant load) , max. + 90oC
- in short circuit (max 5 s), max. + 250oC
o
Working temperature: at laying, from + 5 up to 50 C
Bending radius:
- for one-wire cable, min. 15D;
- for multi-wire and cables with more than one wire, min. 12D (D - cable diameter)
