Nadila : Hello. Can I sit here next to tou ?
Devi : Of course, you can. You are the new student, aren’t you ?
Nadila : Yes, my name is Nadila. Nadila Puspaningrum
Devi : I’m Devi Wulan Oktafiana. Where are you from Nadila ?
Nadila : I’m from Semarang. My family moved here because of my father’s job.
Devi : Do you like it here ?
Nadila : Well so far it’s been nice. Going to a new school is nerve wrecking, but I’ve
only met nice people so far.
Devi : You seem nice. You’ll make a lot of friends. You can sit next to me on the
next class.
Nadila : What’s our next class ?
Devi : It’s English. Miss Trish is our teacher.
Devi : I was a new student, too, last year, but nobody really spoke to me on my first
week.
Nadila : Oh, that sucked! That what did you do ?
Devi : I kept going on anyway. And they finally came around because turned out I
was pretty good at science and they sometimes would ask me to teach them
something they didn’t understand.
Nadila : I hope they’re still nice to you besides the fact that they needed you.
Devi : They are! Once we got to know each other, we’ve gotten along very well.
We will have lunch together on the brea. You can join us.
Nadila : Oh, really? Thank you so much for the offer, Dev. You are really kind. I
hope your friends would be fine with it.
Devi : Well, lucky you are with me. hehehe
