Epoxydic Resin on wet support

DESCRIPTION
MEDAPOXY SH is an epoxy coating provided in the
form of kit of 2 components:
− Element A : Resin
− Element B : Hardener
USE
- Repair of the concretes and mortars
- Finishing and surfacing of the degraded grounds
- Repair of the cracks and the defects on concrete
drains even the support is wet
PROPERTIES
- Good Mechanical resistances
- Good adherence to any support: concrete,
mortar, stone, bricks, asbestos cement, metals
- Good adherence to wet support (wet support).
- Hardens without shrinkage
- Good hardness

INSTRUCTIONS
CONDITIONS OF USE
Don’t apply when the ambient temperature or that of
the support is lower than 10° C or higher than 35° C.
MEDAPOXY HS can be applied to wet supports (wet
supports but it is necessary to avoid the capillary
increase).
SURFACE PREPARATION
The support must clean and be removed from the
nonadherent parts. All oil traces, greases, paintings,
milt or other stains must be eliminated.
The metal supports must be free from rust.
On supports out of concrete, mortar:
The supports of concrete or mortar must have at
least 28 days of age.
On metal supports: Pickle by shot-blasting, sanding
or with an abrasive disc.
Clean the support well before applying MEDAPOXY
HS.
MIXTURE:
Finish all the preparations before the preparation of
the mixture and prepare only the quantity of mixture
which can be used during this time.
It is very important to respect the ratio of the mixture,
and to stir up the two elements well constituting
product MEDAPOXY HS in order to obtain a
homogeneous mixture.
- Pour the contents of element B (hardener) in
element A (resin)
- Stir up during 5 to 10 minutes with an electric
agitator at low number of revolutions.
APPLICATION:
Apply MEDAPOXY HS to the spatula or the brush.
CONSUMPTION
As an indication the consumption of MEDAPOXY HS
is 1,2 to 1,4 kg/m² and per millimetre thickness

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

MEDAPOXY SH is delivered in kit of 13 kg:
Element A: 10 kg Element B: 3 kg
The product is preserved 06 months safe from heat
and humidity in its packing of origin closed
hermetically.

WARNINGS
Epoxydic resins can irritate the skin and the mucous
membranes. Consequently, it is advised to put on
rubber gloves.
In case of skin or eye contact, flush with plenty of
water and seek medical attention.
After the application clean tools using an epoxy
thinner (MEDILUPOX) .

REFERENCE DOCUMENT:
For the reception of the supports, their preparation
and conditions for application; the applicator must
refer to standard NF P74 201/DTU59-1.
IDENTIFICATION: Classification according to
standard AFNOR NF T36 005. Family 1. Classify 6b
(epoxydic resins).
