central importance in any society, signaling which a particular society view a realignment of
existing cultural roles and responsibilities, psychologic and biologic states, and social
relationships. The diference about Pregnancy and childbearing. Pregnancy is the process of
carrying a baby which is experienced around 30-40 weeks while childbearing is a process that
is passed after pregnancy reaches the third trimester (40 weeks) when the baby in the womb
will come out of the mother's stomach.

There are some myths related to pregnancy is like to bring or wear something sharp on
my shirt (for example, small scissors or a pin, to bring a bangle inside my bag everywhere I
went. (A bangle is a species of plant in the ginger family and is also a relative of galangal.) It
is believed to protect you from any evil spirit and also to put a Sapu Lidi (a broom) made
from pohon aren (palm tree) in my room (for the same purpose as the bangle.)

Why do those myths exist until today? Is it really true because our country have a many
culture. So that many people still believe about myths, because it is ingrained and hereditary,
so it is very difficult to eliminate, I don't know for sure either. But I think some are
trustworthy and some are unbelievable. It all depends on each other's beliefs.
