After this lesson students will be able to express events from their childhood using “used to” in a clear
and fluent way. Students will be able to say when each habit or state was done by following the
parameters explained during the activity.
Methodology:
During task-based learning, students solve tasks that are relevant and interesting to them. We will implement this
approach by giving students steps they must follow to achieve their goals. The idea is to provide students bases on
the topic. To solve the task, they need to use the target language they’re learning to communicate with their peers
by the moment they start developing their own past habits or states. They use authentic language instead of
answering grammar or vocabulary questions about the language. Collaborating with others is a key step in
acquiring that language. Also, receiving positive feedback from peers and teachers increases confidence and
motivation to learn and to communicate with others.
