Toward success of Grade 12 Humms Students in Mayapyap
National High

INTRODUCTION

Leadership is one of the most influential aspect in the


development of a child in school. It will develop a career
that lead the students to his/her success that will help
them in achieving his/her desires in life. Having activities
that will boost the confident of the students has a huge
impact on the highest position of their career. Humms strand
means Humanities and Social Sciences which is related in
society. People whose taking this strand could be looking
forward to becoming a teacher, a psychologist, a lawyer, a
writer, a social worker, or a reporter someday. This str and
focuses on improving your communication skills and
leadership that will help students to easily cope up on the
things that is happening inside school premises. Taking a
lead role in a school project is a great example of
leadership experience. If you delegated tasks, chose the
overall strategy for the project, or anything like that,
that's leadership! Organizing a team presentation can also
be considered leadership.

The researchers are encouraged to conduct the study to


know and understand the Effects of having leadership
enhancement activities toward success of grade 12 humss
students in mnhs.

It is hoped, therefore, that this study will shed light


to some unanswered questions about leadership enhancement at
the same time contribute to the understanding and formation
of good activities towards group and school in general.
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Leadership is an action of leading a group of people or


an organization.
Leadership is the art of motivating a group of people
to act toward achieving a common goal. In a business
setting, this can mean directing workers and colleagues with
a strategy to meet the company's needs. Leadership is
important because it sets a clear vision and communicates
effectively to subordinates/colleagues. The clear vision
gives them a better understanding of organizational
direction and makes them realize their roles and
responsibilities.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

this study generally aims to identify the effects of


having leadership enhancement activities toward success of
grade 12 humss students in mnhs specifically, this study
seeks to answer the following questions:

1.How may the profile of the respondents be described


in terms of:

1.1. Age;
1.2. Sex; and
1.3. Section

2.How may the effects of having leadership enhancement


activities toward success of grade 12 humss students in mnhs

3.Is there a significant relationship between the


profile of the respondents and effects of having leadership

SCOPE AND DELIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

this study attempts to identify the effects of having


leadership enhancement activities toward success of grade 12
humss students in mnhs.
this participants of this study are selected grade 12
humss students of mnhs,mayapyap norte cabanatuan city during
this school year 2020-2021. They are chosen to participate
in the conduct of the study. Five(5) students will be
selected for the experienced of being members and another
five(5) students to those experienced being a leader. This
study has a total of Ten (10) participants.
This study will use a test results from the two
experiences and will be statistically treated using T-Test
analysis.

HYPOTHESIS OF THE STUDY

There is no significant relationship between the


profile of the respondents and their leadership experiences.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

Student: this study will hell the student to develop


their personal skills such as critical thinking, effective
communication, quick situation analysis and objective
decision making for them to be a risk taker to take
leadership position and to be a productive leader in their
own career someday.
Teacher: The teacher will be the mediator and guide to
the student to enhanced their leadership skills, the data
from the study will help the teacher to know weaknesses and
strength of their student to guide them to be a better
leader someday.

Parents: The parents are guide role model, and strength


of every child or student on how they deal every task and
situation in their life. If the parents have strong
leadership and positivity in their household also their
children adapt what the characteristics of their Parents.
This study will help the parents to encourage their children
to be a good, effective leader someday.

DEFINITION OF TERM

Administration: Middle School principals and assistant


principals.

Leadership skills: Adolescent leadership skills


development taught the middle school Curriculum.

Leadership traits/ Characteristics: The Characteristics


of leadership perceived by the teachers through the renzulli
hartmann leadership scale (1976)
