Reflection on Visit 08

It was probably a last visit due to the worsening condition for Covid. It was third wave of Covid, and we
could teach at least 3 classes as if we are getting minimum time for the preparations so that we can
easily cope up making our e-portfolio. As I saw the book and the topic that I had to teach was sound, Its
characteristics like pitch, tone, etc. But again, the same problem occurred, while connecting this
biologically to the ear. Students did not have the basic information about the basic parts of the ear and its
functions. So, I taught them the basics of those concepts and connected them with this topic.

I felt like some words were being uttered in English, Even I tried my best translating in to sindhi, but I
feel challenged, and it was creating barriers in students teaching and learning. Overall students were
participating compared the previous class, Students had a remarkable change in overall posture from the
knowledge to whatnot.

As I was free after three classes, thus I was observing students and teacher relationships. One thing that I
learned is have that teacher authority, you can be frank for a while but do not be too friendly as students
get free with you and create hurdles in the instructional purposes.
