Reflection on Visit 10

It was March 16, 2021 and it was probably the last teaching of the degree program. I took the topic
“States of Matter”. This time I used my laptop and taught students through simulations, I used the
Phetlab website and made them involved in self-discovery, they came up with several statements for
matter. After correcting their responses, I asked the students to draw the molecules structure of each
state. From the Solid to Gases. I saw very amazing responses of students. With the help of several
resources, I tried to bring up all the students on single page. I involved group of students in simulations
and changing the states by compressing, freezing, and cooling.

The last class was amazing, Students did enjoy the class. The method was appreciated by the
schoolteacher there in the class from School Side. Due to the limited resources, I felt like other students
felt annoyed while others worked on laptops. Overall, at the end of class majority of the class shared the
positive responses. This time I observed Nimarta’s class and there were serious student behavioral
problems, Students were out of control completely. They made jokes on every teacher entered the class.
The reason behind that I have filtered was the “too frank” behavior with the school.

Though this was the last teaching of the semester, I learnt a lot from this time. I learnt to manage the
low-cost material and to take the maximum out of the present resources. This time, I improved the
classroom management, and the time management issues.
