Talk to students about what a CV is. Explain that it’s a document containing all your work experience and education that helps
employers to know about you quickly. It is a written overview of someone's life's work. Let student Brain storm what can be
included in Curriculum Vitae that give overview of one’s life.

Conclude Brainstorming session by guiding the class to structure of CV writing using Graphic organizer.

Activity: 2 Reading & Extracting information from CV

Student will read the given CV & will try to extract information about Rich Andrews. using given questions.

1. How old is he?

2. Where does he live?


3. What should you do if you want to contact him?

4. What was his first job?

5. What is his job now?

6. What are his duties in his job now?

7. What qualifications does he have?

8. When did he finish school?

9. Write down two of his hobbies.

10. Can you find any mistakes in this CV? Put a circle round any of the mistakes.

ASSESSMENT:

Students will write a CV of their own self using the CV structure. They will share it with their peers for assessment.
