Amazon Kindle Voyage Review

The Amazon Kindle Voyage is one of the best eReaders you can ever imagine. Amazon holds the
dominant position among the booksellers. It definitely leads the way in terms of introducing innovative
eReaders in the market. Amazon features slim designs, page backlighting, and touchscreen interfaces in
its document viewers. The latest sensation in the form of Kindle Voyage brings a bezel-less display,
automatic brightness control, and a high resolution screen. This article will review Amazon Kindle
Voyage eReader.

Rear Design
Amazon Kindle Voyage seems to be a full-fledge tablet. The rear design empowers this fact, which is
pretty much similar to that of the Kindle Fire tablets. The rear design contains stylish angular designs and
also a power button that fits perfectly under your forefinger, if you are holding the device in your left
hand. The angular rear panel, the soft-touch, and low weight of 180g, make it one of the easiest Kindle
tablets to hold. It’s even sleeker as compared to the previous models.
Front Design
Coming to the front, you will observe a single pane covering the display from edge to edge with only the
slimmest of covering around the edge. The thick and raised bezels make it elegant as compared to the
previous models. It makes really easy to read documents and turning pages as naturally as possible. Your
finger will not even touch the bezels as it moves across.

Screen
The screen of Kindle Voyage is pretty smooth, far better as compared to the rusty surfaces of the
previous models. You will feel good while swiping across the screen. It is really responsive as the screen
starts refreshing instantaneously with your inputs.

Side Buttons
You will see the pressure sensitive buttons on either side of the screen. These buttons are referred to as
PagePress. This element might be incorporated to give the real feeling on the physical page turn
buttons. This feature was observed in the Kindle 2012. The lower, larger buttons go forward. The upper
ones seem to go back. You can easily set the sensitivity of the buttons and also the amount of haptic
feedbacks when these are pressed. They work really fine.
Resolution
The 6inches screen had a smoother finish, but it is quite resistant to the reflections as its previous
models. You will enjoy the 300ppi screen, as compared to 212ppi on the previous PaperWhite. The
resolution is calculated to be 1430×1080 pixels.
Letting the numbers aside, the screen on the latest Kindle Voyage is really crisp and vibrant. Consider
the screens of two Kindle tablets head-to-head below, left version represents the previous model and
other one is the Voyage.

Fonts
You can use eight font sizes on Kindle Voyage. The fonts’ range seems to be small. There should have
been more choices in this regard.
Apart from the amazing screen, you will praise the automatic brightness control in it.

Overall, the Amazon Kindle Voyage tablet is simply amazing. It will cost you around $210, which is
slightly expensive as compared to the previous version ($135).
