From the Principal’s Desk:
Dear Wildcat Family,
November is here, and the spirit of thanks is all around! So,
it is only fitting that I stop and thank you for continuing to
entrust Wedgewood Elementary with your scholar’s
education. I would also like to thank our scholars for their
dedication and hard work! They have been focused and
enthusiastic about learning new skills since the first day of
school!
As we move forward, I ask that you continue to embrace
opportunities to give thanks, and remember that we are all
on this journey together! Our dedicated faculty and staff
come to school early and leave late to ensure that your
scholar has the best educational experience possible, and
for that, I am also grateful!

FREE COVID-19 TESTING
Orion Laboratories offers a $25 stipend for students for the
first test and $10 for every test after! COVID-19 Testing is
available to all staff, students, and family members at no cost

Our scholars did an amazing job reciting the Pledge of
Allegiance for WBRZ. Be sure to check them out on the WBRZ
2une in morning segment. They will air on the following
dates: 11/19, 11/23, 11/25, 11/29, 12/1, 12/3, 12/7, 12/9, and
12/13.
Coping Skills
Journaling is a healthy coping skill that your
child can use to help cope with strong feelings.
Encourage your child to write their thoughts
down in a journal. If he/she doesn't want to write,
drawing pictures is an alternative. Allow your
child to choose to keep their journal private or
choose to share it with someone they trust.
Writing or drawing out thoughts and feelings is a
healthy way to process emotions.
