1. The candidates mentioned in Annexure-A have qualified for admission in Fall

Semester 2021 in the programs shown separately. The candidates who could not
meet the minimum admission requirement, the result of this selection for
Admission of those candidates will be treated as cancelled.

2. Tuition Waiver:

Due to the ongoing crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and emergent financial
constraint of many students, particularly the parents/guardians, the EWU authority has
decided to announce a 20% waiver on Tuition of Fall 2021 and full remission of Student
Activity Fee for the same Semester, to give a financial comfort to the parents/guardians
as a gesture of care and responsibility towards beloved students. Students are
requested to pay the tuition of Fall Semester 2021 within the scheduled time.

3. Instructions:
a) Online Admission process will start on 03 October 2021 and continue till 12
October 2021. For admission please go to: http://admission.ewubd.edu/.
b) The qualified candidates are advised to go to: http://admission.ewubd.edu/ for
completing online admission process and payment of admission fees of Tk. 15,000
(Non refundable). Candidates are also advised to follow the instructions mentioned
under the above link. Admission fee to be paid within 13 October 2021 in any
branch of the designated banks of the country mentioned on the Admission/Deposit
Slip.

University will notify the candidates later to come to the Admission Office of
EWU along with the following documents with them:
• Admit Card of EWU Admission.
• Original National ID Card/Passport/Birth Certificate and Original certificates,
transcripts/mark-sheets of all previous degrees.
• Photocopies of National ID Card/Passport/Birth Certificate (two copies of the
candidate and one copy of the Father/Mother/Guardian) and Photocopies of
all original certificates, transcripts/mark-sheets (two sets certificate and
transcripts of bachelor degree)
• Original Experience Certificate/s (Applicable for EMBA Students)

 After verification, the original documents will be returned forthwith to the
concerned student.
c) Details of tuition and other fees will be assessed during ‘Advising of Courses’. Tuition
and other fees may be paid until 01 November 2021 to any branch of the
designated banks of the country during banking hour. Students will not be allowed
to attend classes unless all dues are paid.
d) Orientation Program for newly admitted students of the Fall Semester 2021 will be
held on Monday, 18 October 2021 using a video conference system (zoom). For
attending the orientation, relevant zoom link will be sent to the students later through
email. Attendance in orientation program is mandatory for all newly admitted students.
The time of MBA/EMBA Orientation Program will be provided by the MBA/EMBA
office.
e) Classes of Fall Semester 2021 will start from 22 October 2021.

f) Students who would like to apply for waiver of course(s)/ transfer of credit(s) that
only applicable for Foundation Courses, need to apply to
coursewaiver@ewubd.edu from 22 to 28 October 2021. Interested students must
submit waiver application in the first semester after admission. Waiver application fee
is Tk. 500.00 per credit (non-refundable). Following documents must be submitted
along with the application for waiver:
▪ Waiver application form duly filled-in.
▪ Original copy/copies of official transcript/mark-sheet.
▪ Detail syllabus/course outlines.
▪ Original money receipt of waiver processing fees payment.
