Care - Caring entails caring and learning, all of which can help to build trust, meet the patient's
needs, promote physical and spiritual well-being, and foster a sense of being in the process of
healing. This care is important because nursing is about more than simply the medical side of
things. Patients may be worried about their health, injuries, procedures, surgeries, or
recuperation. It is critical for nurses to address both the physical and emotional needs of their
patients.
For example: In inclement weather, care refers to someone giving extra attention to how they
drive. And also monitoring the patient's overall health, pain management, and other medical
assistance.
Communication - Speech or other ways are used to communicate information, thoughts, and
feelings among people. The patient expresses his or her thoughts and concerns to the nurse in
order for them to make an accurate diagnosis. It is important because It's what allows us to
communicate with and understand what they'll be saying to us. It may take a lifetime to master
communication skills, if anyone can ever claim to have performed so.
For example: By Without saying anything, you can send a powerful statement. And Making eye
contact and managing your voice tone are instances of nonverbal nurse communication skills.
Courage - This is not the same as being closed-minded and narrow-minded. In other words,
courageous nurses have faith in themselves and their skills. They don't blame others for their
flaws or failures, which is even more important.
For example: A nurse may try to avoid having hard conversations with a dying patient's insistent
family, who wants a feeding tube inserted so the patient does not go starved.
Commitment – commitment a desire to stay in a career and a sense of responsibility for the
difficulties and challenges encountered by that profession Nursing commitment entails a desire
to deliver the best quality patient care while also advocating the nursing profession. It is
important because Professional attachment has been cited as the key source of positive ethical
ethics in health-care workers, and it is critical to medical groups because of its connection to
patient care quality.
For example: just like pouring life into people with infectious diseases, just like covid today,
nurses are sacrificing their lives on the patient just to be cared for.
