I surely agree with the statement that people are never satisfied with what they

have. The reasons for holding this point of view are described below. First of all I
would like to illustrate that this statement has both good and bad impacts on human
life.
This is the curious, never satisfying and demanding for more nature of humanbeing
that is responsible of all the scientific advancements we enjoy today. If man had
remain satisfied and uninquisitive, there would never have been any advancement
from the stone age. Every scientist is inquisitive. So for this reason, being curious
and inquisitive is the most important feature of man.
The quest for betterment makes a student work hard and effects his results. If a
student has no interest and no desire to compete then it is difficult for him to
improve. Overall, competition in the field of science, economics, business and other
techincal fields has lead our world to today’s highly sophisticated, advance
standard of living.
On the other hand, if this inquiry is not used positively than it destroys yourself. This
happens with individuals, who are under a complex of being inferior or superior.
They keep comparing themselves with others in things that cannot change or
inthins that have no ending.
For example, people have complex about their color, race, background or poverty.
They cannot change these things. But a continuous comparison, that they tend to
make in their mind, make them feel bad all the time. It distracts their other abilities
and damages their personalities. They hesitat in feeling their ownselves, in front of
others, and this shyness increases their jealousy and tension. Infact, many serious
illness can be caused due to this set of mind. People with this kind of mentality, can
often involve themselves in crimes and drugs.
A second approach towards negative use of inquiring nature is greed for more and
for different. Women tends to show off latest designs, fashion and trends which
simply is a waste of time and money to them, but surely very attractive and good for
product sellers and businessmen. All the advertisement, done in this regard, starts
a race among people for more and more.
Another very bad effect on the society occurs when relationships are broken.
People feel not satisfied with their partners, when they compare them with other’s
partners. This may cause serious distraction in a relationship and even break ups.
When you relate your partner’s habit with a friend’s husband and tell him how his
husband appreciates and praises her for her looks and clothes. It is annoying
because every single person has a different nature that cannot be compared to
others.
So, comparing the two sides, it is obvious that being inquistive is not a bad thing.
The desire for ‘different and new’ sahould count towards yourimprovement and not
towards your own destruction.

Money is very important to live and to earn that money people need to
work. This is one of the main reasons of work, but I believe that money is
not everything. We cannot buy happiness with money. There are many
other reasons of work, such as to gain experience, to help others, and for
physical and mental exercise which give satisfaction to people. These
people work for happiness, satisfaction and relaxation and not for money.

First, people work to gain experience. Many students work to gain

experience and not to earn money. Some students do part time job while
studying. From my own experience, I used to do a part time job while
studying just to gain a practical experience. It helped me a lot, because
the organization, in which I was working, allowed me to complete my
project work there. That was very useful, because whatever I was
learning in college was the same thing I was practicing at job. That was a
practical experience which was more important at that stage than money.
So, I believe many people work to earn experience.

Second, some people like to do social work, such as volunteering. Many

people volunteer in Library or in Community. We can see many old age
people do such work for the sake of satisfaction and not for money. They
do this work to spend their time. Not only old age people do such work,
but also all age people work for different reasons. For example, I am here
in United States on my dependent visa. I am not allowed to work here, but
I can work as a volunteer. So, I volunteer to help others. It allows me to
make new friends; spend my time; and learn new things, such as
language. English is not my Native language. When I go to volunteer in
library, it gives me chance to communicate with native people, which help
me to understand and speak English language. This also gives me
chance to learn new things.

Finally, money is essential to live and this is the main reason of work.
Besides that people work for satisfaction, happiness, to help others, and
to spend their time and not only for money.
