Overview
The Salesforce.com Admin/Developer Specialist will work closely with Quest’s global Salesforce.com
team and subject matter experts to develop and implement solutions that optimize Quest’s selling and
service functions. This position will be responsible for overall system configuration, maintenance,
support, and enhancements of our Salesforce.com instance. Scope of responsibility will also include
systems integration and APIs for communicating with other essential systems. The Salesforce.com
Admin/Developer will work with a cross-functional team to identify needs and requirements and will apply
industry standards and best practices in developing solutions.
Responsibilities
Work with the Business group to understand their needs and feedback through each
implementation cycle
Understand and analyze business process flows that drive business outcomes
Configure and develop Salesforce.com standard objects such as, Accounts, Contacts, Leads,
Opportunities, Opportunity Products, Products, Price book, Cases, Entitlement, Reports, and
Dashboards
Create workflow rules to automate tasks, email alerts, field updates, time-dependent actions, and
outbound API messages
Provision and restrict SFDC access appropriately by using Profiles, permission sets, organization
wide settings, roles, criteria-based sharing rules, etc.
Package and deploy customizations from Sandbox to other environments using Copado
Install and support AppExchange applications
Perform integrations with external systems and managed packages
