MY HISTORY DIARY

1.Do you like remembering (your) past events? Why or why not?

Yes, our memories serve as reminders of comparable events we've encountered in the
past. This allows us to reflect on how we previously dealt with that emotion and what we
can learn from it. Such memories can also assist us in coping with bad emotions. When
I'm upset, for example, I can use time to reflect on a happy experience to lift my mood.

2. What will happen if you forget them?

To be honest, some people really want to forget their past events, especially if they are bad
events. But for me, if you forget your past event, nothing will happen.

3. Do you think that all your experiences contributed to what you are today? Why?
or Why not?

We've all had a variety of events that have shaped who we are now. What I've realized
over time is that it's not so much the experience itself that matters, but rather the meaning
we give to it. What is the story that we tell ourselves about that event? That is what shapes
who we are, our future decisions, and our interactions with others.
For example, when I was eight years old, my parents separated. The way it affected me
was different from how it affected other people in similar situations. As a teen, I recall
observing this. I observed how other children with divorced parents dealt with the
situation. Even with my siblings and me, things were different.
