MID TERM EXAM

22ND May, 2021
QUESTION NO: 1
1. For this case, I will take the example of Learning management system software. Due to
Covid19, many universities who had their student’s portals included the new feature,
“Learning Management System” to continue online learning. Now considering the above
question, explanation for the following principles of Agile is as follows:
Agile processes always welcome changes at any given time in the projects. Let they be in
a development stage. They always embrace changes because it firstly increases your
customer’s satisfaction which plays an important part for any project and secondly it
gives you a competitive advantage. Furthermore, the change process is simplified.
For example: developing another platform for online learning or using other social media
apps like WhatsApp for forwarding lecture notes etc., Universities introduced LMS on
student’s portal.
2. This states that face to face communication with key stakeholders is necessary to
correctly convey your expressions and ideas or details. It could also be done through
various other means such as video conferencing if everyone is not available at that time.
For example: the details about the development of LMS are explained in detail in a
meeting with the key stakeholders.
3. This principle states that it is the end users that will confirm if the software is running or
not. Basically working soft wares are tested version of software that will be delivering
value to the end customer or user.
For example: LMS working efficiently. So that means now students can easily access to
the lecture notes etc.

team will be conducted which will further be followed by reviews and retrospectives.
 Now here, the scrum master will basically lead as a facilitator for thr product owner and
team. He will just see if there is anything that can cause delays, so he can remove them
by telling or informing them.
 The product owner is a person with vision and mission who will continuously lead the
team by answering their questions. He responsibility is to be available for the team
anytime.
 Lastly, the team acts as a group who are determined to complete the task and how to
carry out various procedures which will benefit the project.
The scrum cycle can be related to the pillars of scrum practice as follows:

a timely manner
