How does Art Appreciation help me to attain TIP graduate attributes?

It’s been an awesome journey, every time I enter the Art Appreciation class I have a lot of
learnings that comes in my mind and memories in my heart. I believe that there is no right or
wrong way to interpret art. People view and think things differently. Interpreting art will also
varies from one person to another. Discovering the meaning of a piece of art depends on our
personal connection we make with it. Therefore, it is necessary to be an informed viewer when
interpreting art. Everybody interprets things differently depends on their understanding. The
viewer always knows much more than what the artist has intended. Using senses; sense of seeing,
smelling, tasting, hearing, and touching can view and appreciate arts. Art Appreciation help me to
attain TIP Attributes to understand that there are different forms of art that affect our feelings and
emotions. Professional Competence, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills,
Communication Skills, Lifelong Learning, Social and Ethical Responsibility, Productivity, and
Interpersonal Skills are all consider as an art because all of this art can express our thought,
feelings, and emotion. It is through art that we can reveal to the world our creativity that exists in
our mind and also our deepest feelings. As a Young Professional using TIP Attributes and lesson
that I learned in this course thought me how to be a person that can reveal to the world our
creativity that exist in our mind and also our deepest feelings.

How does Art Appreciation help me to attain TIP graduate attributes?

Art is an object that possesses beauty, admired and appreciated by the people, and cannot
be found anywhere but in particular places where people can visit. Creating artwork, therefore,
requires excellent imagination to give the piece of work the desired aesthetic value. Using our
senses found the beauty of art everywhere. Appreciating an art is like a deep understanding of
how the world begun. Every view, curves, smell, texture, and sounds is an art that people will do
understand see the gratitude among them.

In my course, the value of an Art depends on the materials used to make it, its size, and
the image it represents. The beauty and the natural appearance of an object are found in Art
through ages. This is used mainly in Architecture to display the true natural appearance. The
artists obtained a balance by making symmetrical design and some architectural objects. The
balance was achieved to give the art natural beauty and safety

The TIP Graduate Attribute: Professional Competence, Critical Thinking and Problem
Solving Skills, Communication Skills, Lifelong Learning, Social and Ethical Responsibility,
Productivity, and Interpersonal Skills is my core why I’m here in TIP. So that, the Art
Appreciation thought me the discipline on how to see appreciate everything around me. As a
young Professional we need to see the beauty of small and big things that come in our life. It
may be an opportunities, elevating life lesson, social impact, or community service that help a
large amount of people in the community and to see a positivity by giving the country a good
impact to change the lives of many.
