As we have seen in prior health catastrophes, most recently the covid-19 outbreaks, the
impact on education is most likely to be catastrophic in nations that already have low learning
outcomes, high dropout rates, and low shock resistance. While school closures appear to be a
natural approach for ensuring social distancing within communities, they disproportionately harm
the most disadvantaged pupils. They have fewer opportunities to study at home, and their absence
from school may place financial strains on parents, who may struggle to obtain long-term childcare
or even enough food in the absence of school meals.
Mental health is a catch-all word encompassing a wide range of mental diseases, including
depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and others. Let this serve as a reminder that mental wellness
and mental disease are not the same thing. Nobody is immune to mental disease. In their daily life,
everyone comes into mental health issues. People who suffer from mental illnesses typically have
no or low energy. It has a lot of contradictory feelings such as experiencing unusual levels of
confusion, forgetfulness, agitation, anxiety, or fear. They also have a feeling of powerlessness or
despair like the inability to perform daily tasks such as personal hygiene, going to work, or attending
classes. Worse, some individuals consider harming themselves or others. The pandemic caught
everyone off guard. The situation had shifted. Change is beneficial, but it takes time to adjust. Many
people had to adjust as a result of the new normal. It was challenging because most individuals
were not used to doing things in this manner. And the vast majority of those present had mental
health problems. This pandemic made a big impact in our lives. Students are no longer permitted to
attend school, thus their lessons must be completed through online classes, which many students
have found difficult to adjust to.
We may infer that mental health is important to everyone's everyday existence. If we are
suffering from mental illness, we must seek treatment. There's no need to feel embarrassed. Keep a
good attitude at all times. Let us all take care of our mental health, and let us also assist others in
dealing with mental health issues. Don't let the day pass you by without doing anything productive.
Allow time for self-care and meditation. Make a list of positive affirmations and healthy coping
techniques to keep in a jar in case you need to disrupt a negative thinking loop. Let us look for our
mental well-being and never lose hope.
