Use question tags; There are 2 types of questions – WH and Yes/No questions

How to write good E-Mails

Emails are prompt way of communication; During pandemic situation, when we maintained
social distance, E-mail was the preferred way of communication; Phone calls – expensive,
people don’t answer

Formal and Informal way of writing E-mails

Formal – to Boss, Customers, Seniors

Informal- to friends, Parents etc

Based on that the structure and salutation change


Writing everything in Capital letter makes it insensitive.

 Important aspect in Email is Subject Line; People read the Email based on the Subject
Line; Subject should be specific; Avoid Hi, FYI etc

 Greetings and Sign-offs : Both Opening and closing are extremely important; The
reader should know to whom the email is addressed and who is contacting them

Format of Email

Heading : Used in Formal letters – now it is available in Emails automatically

Subject:

Body: Start with proper Salutation

Closing: Close the email traditionally

Future – something that happens later than now

We use will and shall

Will is universal

Shall is used only with I and We

Rule of Future tense

Subject + Will/Shall/not as Helping verb + First Or base form of Verb

Eg: Will you come to dance with me?

Will you marry me?

Forms:

Will/shall = She will leave soon

Be going to - She is going to leave soon

Both forms are same
