Good day!! Everyone!!

Today I’ll be sharing to you an important quote

about language and it is “one language sets you in a corridor for life.
Two languages open every door along the way. ". These are only a few
instances of why we must completely embrace and show a multilingual
society in its entirety. Knowing another language may also serve as a
gateway to learning about another culture, including how people live
and their beliefs, customs, and values and how they think. Knowing
another language enables us to get a comprehensive understanding of
a culture. We can see how they create their culture and why they do so.
Their poetry, music, and history were all things we could enjoy.
Furthermore, if a person enjoys travelling and is fluent in more than one
language, they will easily navigate the region. Moreover, bilingual
students like us! Enjoy better academic outcomes in the classroom they
demonstrate increased reading comprehension, better long-term
memory, and find easier to apply logics. Studies have compared the
attitudes of bilingual and monolingual elementary students towards
filipino-speaking people and found that the former viewed them more
positively by reading dual language texts students are exposed to other
cultures and are more likely to value inclusivity and embrace diversity
while dual language learners demonstrate increased levels of empathy
because they're able to see things from multiple perspectives dual
language immersion programs produce young people who are
academically capable culturally inclusive and better equipped to thrive in
all walks of life.
For example, there is a filipino nurse who was accepted as a registered
nurse in one of the hospitals in Texas, USA. Since, filipinos are bilingual
in nature that is, they can speak both filipino and English. When she is in
the Philippines she can converse with every filipino because she is able to
speak the filipino language. On the other hand, if she is already working
in the United States it will no be difficult for her to have a conversation
with the Americans because she can also speaks the English language.
To sum it all, it is so critical that we are able to communicate in two or
three different languages and just by the very process of learning two
different languages we build many other skills, including how to be
creative when we don’t have the words that we need to express
ourselves. We have to be critical thinker about how we try to
communicate the essential even sometimes if we don’t have all the
sentence frames or structures. Because it opens up a whole new
understanding of how the world works. When you are able to speak and
communicate in another language, you have access to a whole another
perspective, a whole another way of thinking and approaching life.
