Course Objectives:
Organizational behavior deals with the behavior of people in an organization as individual and
as groups. The success and sustainability of the organization highly depend upon the effective
behavior of its members. This applied science provides a set of useful tools required to analyze
human behavior at work place.
Learning Objectives:
The objectives of this course are:
- To provide significant knowledge about the basic concepts of OB,
- To focus on individual behavior attitudes, job satisfaction, values and personality,
- To help the learners understand perception, decision making and emotions,
- To disseminate knowledge about team and group behavior,
- To through light on organizational culture, change and stress management and finally
power and politics.
Learning Outcomes:
After studying this course, students will be able to:
- Understand basic knowledge about organizational behavior and its related issues.
- Demonstrate the importance of interpersonal skill in the work place.
- Understand individual behavior as well as group behavior and their implications in
work place.
